Learn From Collections is an independent, non-commercial platform. We collect as little as we need to run it and to understand how people look at the collection.
Anonymous usage. Pages viewed, works opened in the Collection and in LFC Space, and approximate country and device type. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not store your IP address.
Questions in LFC Space. The text of questions you ask the guide, the work they concern, and the time. They are not linked to your name or email. Replies are generated by Cloudflare Workers AI, which does not use your questions to train models and does not keep them after replying. To keep the guide free, each visitor may ask up to 10 questions a day; we count this with a one-way code made from your IP address and the date, which cannot be turned back into your address and is deleted after 48 hours. Please do not include personal information in your questions.
Viewing requests. The details you send us (name, email, affiliation, role, purpose), used only to review and answer your request.
On your device. LFC Space keeps your visit progress in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
To improve LFC, for research on how audiences encounter contemporary art, and to share aggregated, anonymous statistics with partner collections such as DO2ON Garden. We never share information that identifies an individual.
We do not sell data, show advertising, or track you across other websites.
Supabase (database, Canada region), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and Cloudflare (generating guide replies).
