What does time make possible here that a still image could not hold?
Begin with the image, then return to the label, material, scale, duration, and collection context. The work becomes clearer as these clues begin to connect.
Look With This WorkA meeting as a space of knowledge
Developed from a lecture-performance at Senate House, University of London, the work places philosophers, theorists, writers, and mythical figures into a shared intellectual space. Creatures from the Classic of Mountains and Seas appear through real-time animation. The meeting becomes more than a discussion: it is a staged site where different systems of knowledge collide, translate, and transform each other.
